Four Update Carriers

Where to record experience is determined by the nature of the ability: knowledge base — facts and patterns (fast update, traceability); Prompt and Skill — strategies expressed in natural language (explainability, but prone to bloat); programs and Harness — deterministic processes and hard constraints (testability, stability); model parameters — high-dimensional abilities: perception, style, implicit strategies (generalization, but expensive). Carriers are combined: model tone — post-training, policies — knowledge and Skill, critical requirement compliance — server code. The selection criterion is not the recency of experience, but the expressibility of the ability by the carrier.
