Five Categories of Tools
Tools are classified by the direction of the call and the object of impact: (1) perception – obtaining information; (2) execution – changing the external world; (3) collaboration – interacting with other agents and people; (4) event triggering – the external world wakes up the agent; (5) user communication – the agent delivers information to the user itself. The first four are called by the agent actively, the fifth category is triggered from the outside.
